10 Golden Rules For Being A True Friend

1-Honesty 

A true friend is always honest no matter what.

It is your duty to tell the truth, even when you know that the truthmay hurt and possibly even cost you your friendship (which it won’t ifyou follow the other 9 rules below).

Never take something without permission, even if you know that your friend will be okay with it. Just ask for permission first.

2-Reliability

A true friend is someone you can rely on.

When you make a promise you will always honor it, and when you knowyou won’t be able to stick to your promise it’s best to be honest andtell your friend that you can’t keep to the promise.

If you say that you’ll do something or be somewhere at a certain date and time, then be there no matter what.

3-Respect

A true friend respects time, property and beliefs. 

Time is respected by not wasting it. Be punctual for appointmentsand let your friend know if you’ll be late or can’t make it at all.
Property is respected by not damaging it. Treat other people’s belongings with care and love.
Beliefs are respected by not judging. If you know that your friendhas certain beliefs and morals, respect them, even if you don’t agreewith them.

4- Bros Before Hoes

Please excuse the expression but I found it very fitting.

Choosing bros before hoes means that you don’t choose a girl or aboy over your friend. Don’t cancel your plans with your friend or letyour friend down just because you want to be with someone you’reinterested in.

If the guy or girl you are interested in is really special to you,you can always ask your friend first and they’ll likely understand. Buta true friend doesn’t drop you to be with someone else.

5-Selfless

A true friend will sacrifice their own comfort or happiness and put you first.
They are selfless and would not do something for financial or materialgain if they knew that it would have a negative effect on your life.

6-Loyalty

A true friend you will stand up for you when you need it. Also when you don’t ask them to.

A true friend is not for sale and will never do anything that will compromise your success or happiness.

7-Patience

A true friend is patient with you. They are understanding whenthings need time to change or get better and won’t judge you even whenyou make the same mistake over and over. As long as you’re making theeffort to get better.

8- Laugh Together Cry Together

A true friend is not a fair-weather friend. Theyare there for  you in good times and in bad times. A true friend alsoshares their own success with you when they achieve it.

9-Constructive Criticism

A true friend is not scared to tell you what you’re doing wrong .They’re not scared to seriously intervene if they see that something isseriously bad for you or if you’re going down the wrong path.But theyalways support their criticism with advice that can help you improve.

Don’t just say “You’re going to go bankrupt with your new businessplan”. Tell them why you think their new business plan will fail. E.g.“You’re putting all your money into something that is not real, orthere is an expiry date on the products you’re buying and I don’t thinkyou’ll be able to sell even 10% of what you’re buying”.

10- Forgiveness

A true friend has the ability to forgive. Everyone is human and weall make mistakes at times. We may even break one or more of thesegolden rules of being a true friend, but if you realize that you messedup and you really show that you’re sorry and try to make things right,a true friend will be able to forgive you. (Just don’t mess up in thesame way again because there is a limit to forgiveness).

1- As Long As You Are Alive Anything Is Possible

2- Be Realistic

The chance of mastering something the first time you do it is almost non-existent. Everything takes time to learn and you will make mistakes. Learn from them.

There will always be haters. There will always be plenty of naysayers and people who try to tear you down. Don’t pay attention to them and don’t take what they say to heart. Let the haters hate and you keep believing in yourself.

Don’t ever let anybody tell you otherwise. You deserve to be happy and you deserve to have success. Keep that mindset and never give up until you reach your destination!

Sumber statistik

Bilangan kes adalah seperti yang dikeluarkan oleh PDRM dan data yang dikumpulkan oleh Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat. Statistik ini cuba diperkuatkan dengan melihat perangkaan daripada Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara.

2004 hingga 2010
Statistik kes pembuangan bayi dikeluarkan Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) pula menunjukkan 396 kes dicatatkan dari 2005 hingga tahun lalu. Ia menunjukkan trend peningkatan walaupun ada penurunan pada 2007. Sebanyak 67 kes dilaporkan pada 2005, 83 kes (2006) yang menurun kepada 65 kes pada 2007, 102 kes (2008), 79 kes (2009) dan 91 kes (2010). Bagi tahun 2011, kepada semakin parah apabila dalam bulan Januari sahaja sebanyak 34 kes buang bayi dilaporkan di akhbar-akhbar utama Malaysia.

Sebilangan besar individu yang terbabit dalam kes pembuangan bayi berusia antara 18 hingga 25 tahun, 20 kes membabitkan individu berusia bawah 18 tahun, 33 dilakukan individu 25 tahun ke atas, manakala 403 individu lagi gagal dikesan peringkat umur mereka. Daripada jumlah 396 kes itu, 137 kes membabitkan pembuangan bayi lelaki, 102 bayi perempuan dan selebihnya tidak diketahui jantina.

Setiap 17 minit seorang anak luar nikah dilahirkan di Malaysia. Dan perkara ini berlaku setiap jam, setiap hari dengan kadar yang semakin meningkat. uhhhh... ya ALLAH :(

135 Orang Memohon Untuk Murtad Diluluskan Mahkamah

Jamil Khir: Permohonan murtad 135 orang diluluskan

Mahkamah Syariah menerima 863 kes permohonan untuk menukar status agama Islam dari tahun 2000 hingga 2010, kata Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Jamil Khir Baharom (bawah, kiri).

Beliau menjawap soalan lisan daripada Er Teck Hwa (DAP-Bakri) yang meminta perdana menteri menyatakan jumlah permohonan murtad bagi penganut Islam dan berapakah jumlah yang diluluskan mengikut negeri sepanjang sedekad yang lalu.

Er juga memohon penjelasan kerajaan mengenai cara-cara yang diambil bagi menangani kes-kes gejala murtad itu. Jamil dalam jawapannya berkata mengikut perangkaan yang dibekalkan kepada kementeriannya menunjukkan sejumlah 168 orang yang memohon untuk meninggalkan agama Islam diluluskan.

Bagaimanapun perangkaan yang dibekalkan kepada Dewan Rakyat itu tidak selaras dengan jumlah yang dikira.

Mengikut kiraan Malaysiakini, jumlah permohonan untuk murtad adalah 686 manakala permohonan yang diluluskan pula adalah 135 orang.

Mengikut data yang dibekalkan, jumlah tertinggi yang diluluskan adalah dari Sabah iaitu seramai 67 orang dan diikuti dari Negeri Sembilan dengan 33 orang.

Jumlah permohonan untuk meninggalkan Islam yang terbesar adalah di Sabah - 238, Negeri Sembilan - 172, Selangor - 99 dan Perak - 47.

Tiada permohonan murtad dicatatkan di Kelantan.

"Dalam menangani gejala murtad, Jabatan Agama Islam Negeri (JAIN) sentiasa melasanakan program dan aktiviti bagi mengelakkan berlakunya gejala ini terutamnya di kalangan saudara-saudara baru.

"Antara program dan aktiviti yang dilaksanakan adalah seperti khidmat nasihat; ziarah dan lawatan ke rumah; aktivitiaktiviti pengukuhan agama; kelas pengajian agam; dan sokongan Baitulmal," kata Jamil.

During the recent economic recession, it might have felt like no countries have been 'rich' as such, or at least not when compared to their previous finances. Recently the world's richest countries have been thrown into flux and are not necessarily the same select few that they once were. Here we will look at what are now the world's richest countries and what's helped them to keep on top in a countdown of the world's richest countries today (of course these are likely to change regularly, and will vary depending on your exact definition of the World's richest countries).

10. United Arab Emirates
The United Arab Emirates is a country rich in oil and gas and is highly developed making it number ten among the world's richest countries. This money has only lead to further development as the cash is invested in architecture and projects such as the Burj Khalifa (a tower nearly twice as tall as the Empire State Building) and many artificial islands. It also has a thriving tourist industry – particularly in Dubai which is a city that looks like it's situated in one of the world's richest countries.

9. Kuwait
Kuwait is one of the world's richest countries due to its oil reserves which make up a shocking 10% of the world's total. This makes it one of the world's richest countries and far wealthier than neighbours Saudi Arabia and Iraq.

Ireland is perhaps surprisingly one of the richest countries in the world despite a troubled political landscape and is the larger developer of computer software anywhere in the world.

7. Switzerland
Not many people would have thought to put Switzerland in a countdown of the World's richest countries being a country that often stays 'off the radar'. This is partly why Switzerland has remained one of the world's richest countries however – by avoiding getting involved in world affairs and staying independent. During WW2 Switzerland stayed out of affairs and during this time the rest of the World's richest companies deposited their money in Swiss banks expecting them to be more secure. Being the home to companies such as Nestle, Logitech, Rolex and Credit Suisse also helps them to remain one of the world's richest countries.

6. United States
The United States is not only one of the world's richest countries in the world but perhaps the most powerful. It is also a hub of popular culture and entertainment and has a business friendly economy which makes it the home of more billionaires than any other country. While many of the world's richest countries are very small, the US manages to maintain its wealth across a population of more than 300 million.

5. China
China by many definitions is one of the world's richest countries and is only increasing. Partly this is due to the sheer strength in numbers and the size of China's population means that it can simply generate a lot of profit as well as a huge number of exports. At the same time work ethic is still instilled at an early age, and it is one of the leaders in terms of technology development. One of the world's richest countries now, and likely even more so soon.

4. Singapore
Singapore is made up mostly of islands and is considered one of the four 'Asian Tigers' along with Hong Kong, South Korea and Taiwan. One of the reasons it's among the world's richest countries is that it has the fourth busiest port in the world which makes a hugely active trading centre. Not only is it one of the world's richest countries, but is thought to be highly business friendly.

3. Norway
Norway is a very modern country in Europe that nevertheless is not a part of the EU. This helps it to stay as one of the world's richest countries, as do its rich reserves of oil and gas (as well as one of the world's richest countries it is one of the top five countries for exporting oil).

2. Luxembourg
Luxembourg is not only one of the world's richest countries, but also one of its smallest (the 8th smallest to be precise) with fewer than 500,000 residents. This in part helps it to remain wealthy due to simply having fewer 'mouths to feed', which may also have helped Qatar to be number one on this list of the world's richest countries.

Qatar is an Arabic speaking country and was far from being one of the world's richest countries until the 1940s when it discovered lots of natural gas and oil reserves. Another reason it might be one of the world's richest countries is its minute population of just over a million people which creates fewer problems and helps money to go further. THE SIGNIFICANCE OF LAYLATUL QADR

Laylat Al Qadr or the Night of Power — when the first verses of the Holy Quran were revealed to Prophet Mohammed (Peace be upon him) — holds a very special significance for Muslims around the world.

Laylat Al Qadr falls on odd days in the last 10 days of the holy month of Ramadan, for example, on the 21^st, 23^rd, 25^th, 27^th, or the 29^th day of this month. This holiest night, when the faithful are advised to pray throughout, is revered by Muslims around the world as the reward for worship in this night is better than the worship of a thousand months.

This was the night when Quran was revealed to Prophet Mohammad while he was praying to God in Cave Hira, and hence the significance of this night.

According to Hadith, these odd nights must be searched in the last 10 days of Ramadan, albeit no particular night has been fixed so that the yearning for it sees people spending more nights in worshipping Allah. From this aspect, the importance of ‘Itikaaf’ (seclusion) during the last 10 days of Ramadan is clear and highly rewarding.

The Prophet said: “The person who offered prayers to Allah in the Night of Power with faith and with hope of reward from Allah, all his past sins have been forgiven.” (Hadith: Bukhari)

The importance of Laylat Al Qadr can be realised from the fact that the Holy Quran contains a whole chapter on this night. The blessing of this night is equal to the blessing of thousand nights as angels descend on the earth to shower Allah’s blessings on the faithful.

According to the verses of the Holy Quran, “Verily! We have sent it (this Quran) down in the Night of Decree (Laylat Al Qadr). And what will make you know what the Night of Decree is? The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months. Therein descend the angels and the Rooh (i.e. Gabriel) by Allah’s permission with all Decrees, Peace! until the appearance of dawn.” (Surat Al Qadr: Quran)

5 Key Steps to a Healthy Mind

What are You Thinking?

I can honestly say that back in the day I was only vaguely aware of all the jumble of thoughts that passed through my head. I wasn’t even remotely aware of how those thoughts could be affecting my reality and my feelings. To actually focus and be aware of each and every thought form that you think can be exhausting and not to mention a little scary as well.

Thoughts can become habitual and many people have been conditioned from a very early age to have negative thought patterns. Those negative thought patterns get stuck within the subconscious mind and can literally shape who you are and how you react to your environment. The good news is that habits are meant to be broken and it is very possible to take control of your thoughts and make them work for you as opposed to working against you.

I can remember the day several years ago when I decided that I would take note of my thoughts and feel how they were affecting me. At the end of the day I clearly remember thinking “Oh boy, I have some major work to do here!”

With that realization my journey began in taking the proper steps to create a healthy mind with the hopes of creating a far healthier and happier life.

Below are five key steps that have shown to help change your thoughts patterns, increase the health of your mind as well as create a more balanced and positive outlook on life.

1. Create the Intention

Changing negative habits and creating new positive habits is a fairly simple process but not an easy process and takes a commitment. It is important that you make the decision and be clear about your intention in order to create change.

Think it and write it down as well as say it out loud. In this way you are making a commitment to yourself to do what it takes to accomplish your goal and create a healthier mind state.

2. Be Conscious of Your Thoughts

As mentioned before thoughts are habitual and it can be quite difficult at first to consciously be aware of every thought that passes through your head. Before you change them for the better you must be aware of exactly what you are thinking.

Make it a priority to take notice of what thoughts pass through your head as you go about your day. Take note of what thoughts come up as you are dealing with different people and situations. Be careful not to judge your thoughts, for now simply be aware of them.

3. Make the Switch

Now that you are aware of your thinking patterns you can then begin to change them. We all have the capability to choose what we think and you have the power to change a negative thought into a positive.

When you notice a negative or non-affirming thought in your head consciously decide to change it. Do not worry if at first you do not believe your new positive thought as overtime that will change. By switching your negative thought to a positive each and every time you will eventually create new thought patterns and habits. You will also be creating a positive energy within yourself as opposed to a negative.

This method is simple yet not easy, but it works very well. It is a matter of sticking with it one hundred percent of the time. After a period of time your negative thought patterns will no longer have the power to affect or limit any aspect of your life including your emotions. Your new positive thought patterns will send out a different energy and create a more positive way of being which will in turn attract new positive energy within your life.

Over time with practice you will notice that when a negative thought pops up you will habitually switch it immediately to a positive. Then before you know it the negativity will be gone and it will be replaced with a positive and self-affirming way of being.

4. Positive Brain Frequencies

Once you have begun to practice the first three steps you can also begin to work directly with your brain frequencies. The brain is constantly emitting very specific frequency waves that influence how you feel and act. You can work with your brainwaves through meditation or by using an external stimulus such as brainwave audios.

By meditating or using brainwave audios such as binaural beats you are able to bypass the conscious mind and work directly with the subconscious mind. In this way you can make huge progress by tuning the brain to a specific frequency that helps with stress, anxiety and overall well being. If you combine these methods with affirmations you may notice your thought patterns and energy changing for the positive at a far quicker rate.

5. Take Time to Enjoy

Practicing positive thinking does not mean that you will never again have a negative thought. However it does mean that you will have the conscious awareness to change the negative to a positive and allow that positive energy to shape your life as opposed to being influenced by the negative.

Once you have made these changes and adopted this new healthier mind state it is up to you to get out there and enjoy life. Take little steps to do more of what you enjoy and be proud of the fact that you have given your mind the attention it needs in order to create the healthy life you deserve to enjoy.
